Teen Drug Rehab Facility Paradigm Malibu Teaming Up with Singer/Songwriter Jaron Lowenstein

Paradigm Malibu Adolescent Treatment Center has teamed up with singer/songwriter Jaron Lowenstein (“Evan and Jaron”) to help broaden its reach within the music community as it seeks to expand its popular monthly “Writers and Artists Series.”
Lowenstein will serve as curator for the series and will be calling upon friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry who can serve as positive role models and sources of inspiration to youth in residential treatment for drug addiction, emotional or behavioral disorders.
“While I was lucky enough to never get dragged down the addiction rabbit hole, I certainly can relate to being a teenager who struggled with authority and never quite felt like I fit in,” Lowenstein says. “They’re really good kids who just need a little reset and a second chance. I’ve witnessed the work done by Dr. Jeff Nalin and his staff and while I don’t possess their skill-set, I’ve been inspired to help in whatever way I can in hopes of making even the slightest difference.”
Lowenstein is most famous for hitting the top of the charts in the early 2000’s with “Crazy For This Girl,” a song he sang with twin brother, Evan Lowenstein. Jaron topped the charts again in 2010 with platinum selling single “Pray For You,” a "snarky" breakup song released under the name “Jaron and The Long Road to Love.”
Dr. Jeff Nalin, Founder and Clinical Director for Paradigm Malibu been specializing in youth treatment and recoveryfor the past 15 years.
The Writers and Artists Series is designed to combat the fallout from the expanding proliferation of celebrity headlines sensationalizing out-of-control partying.
Dr. Nalin says “It can be extremely impactful on the youth to have some of their favorite stars from various entertainment fields come in and paint a much different picture from the ones portrayed in the pop culture headlines in addition to sharing their personal stories of overcoming addiction or avoiding it all together.”
Nalin continues, “Having known Jaron for many years and witnessed his successes and more importantly his compassion and sensitivity for addiction, I believe him to be the perfect fit to spearhead the continuation of this series.”
Paradigm Malibu is the only residential teen drug treatment program owned and operated by licensed mental health professionals.
